As a host of, and participant in, a variety of Louise’s workshops and seminars and keynotes in the span of 8 years, I have seen how her audiences engage with her on a personal basis; engage with Mr. Fig to put themselves at ease; ask questions about disability that they were afraid to ask before; and have themselves become more comfortable in their own approach to working with and welcoming the disabled community into what we call “the mainstream”.
