Both Louise and Mr. Fig have been making the impossible possible since the day they were born.
Louise enriches the lives of everyone she meets by embodying two themes that are close to her heart: firstly, living life to the fullest, no matter how tough life might seem; and secondly, helping others unleash their full potential as she leads with her heart first and by example, demonstrating that making the impossible possible is in fact possible.
As for Mr. Fig. Louise’s trusted guide dog and loyal companion, he faithfully accompanies her every step of the way, even when they travel by plane.

As a host of, and participant in, a variety of Louise’s workshops and seminars and keynotes in the span of 8 years, I have seen how her audiences engage with her on a personal basis; engage with Mr. Fig to put themselves at ease; ask questions about disability that they were afraid to ask before; and have themselves become more comfortable in their own approach to working with and welcoming the disabled community into what we call “the mainstream”. We all should be so fortunate to learn from Louise.
I was a participant in a diversity workshop presented by Louise Burley. Louise’s approach was interactive and used the adult learning model. This workshop enabled me to expand my understanding of diversity and how it relates to me and my workplace.
